BEACH PORTRAIT

Just rummaging through some old Tri-X images and found this impromptu portrait of my lovely bride that was taken roughly 30 years ago. I was always carrying a camera with me (I think this was an Olympus OM-2S but could be the OM-4T; not sure of lens) and looked up to see her standing in the afternoon sun on a Florida beach in the panhandle. The position of the sun threw the shrubs and sand in shadow while her body caught rim lighting to drive the eye. In a couple of days, she will turn 76 and we just keep plugging along. We will hit our 55th wedding anniversary this year and plan on being on a cruise to celebrate.
