FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

This shot was on the first day of school for this little girl. I took several shots but settled on this one after I got the image into the computer.

As I looked at the details in the image I realized the little girl had a single tear just starting out of her left eye - something I did not notice when I pushed the shutter button. This is one of those images that one never forgets.
