BOAS

 Thought this grouping of three ladies with the feather boas made a nice shot. I had left the weekly newspaper I had worked with for a decade because they were beginning to lay off reporters and I could see the "handwriting on the wall". So this image was never published.

I was still well known around the area so I still got press passes and information about any events in the area like this so I at least had opportunities to shoot.

I really like the different expressions on each person's face and the different postures each one has. The happy expression on the woman on the left, the kid with a smirk on her face, and the somber expression of the woman on the right. With the kid leaning forward my eyes bounce up and down from one subject to the next.
