THE BIG TOP

Time to forget about the midterm elections and the coming disaster in America for the next two years and try to find something a little uplifting.

Watching a circus putting up their big top was a gas! Even though I was 53 when this shot was taken in 2000, I got a real thrill out of watching the circus roustabouts do their job. And I wasn't the only one as there were a lot of families there hoping for the same thrill.

Originally shot on Kodacolor film, converted the image to black&white for printing in the newspaper. The equipment was an Olympus OM-4T and Zuiko 35-70mm zoom lens.
