Grabbed this shot over the weekend at the local coffeeshop. What caught my eye was they seem to be friends meeting for a cup of joe. But my wife was listening to the conversation. Turns out the couple were meeting with a local wedding photographer.

Back when I was a working newspaper photographer (1998-2008), I quite often would block out all the noise so I could focus on the photo I was trying to get. It did not make any difference whether I was on the beach for a feature image or at a sporting/music event or in support of a reporter needing a portrait of a subject for an article. Even today, I am pretty much the same way.
