 Don't remember why I was at Eden State Gardens but I spotted these two wheelchair bound seniors with one of them on her cell phone. Just thought it was an interesting documentary image.

I had left the newspaper three years earlier just before being laid off as the newspaper print business was tanking. A paper that had once put out four sections of 20 pages each every weekend, it is now a mere shadow of its former self.

It is really tough to be a newspaper shooter these days. You are expected to produce award-winning images AND video, upload it to a website and have your own photography gear with no equipment pay to keep up with technology. Oh, and you will probably have to write articles as well as your cutlines.
