WAVERLY TRAIN STATION, EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND

Taken on our second trip to Scotland in 2004. My gear was a relatively new Nikon D2H that I was using for newspaper work along with a Tokina 24-200mm f3.5-5.6 superzoom. It was an ok lens but I replaced it soon after with a Nikkor 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 that was, IMO, a technically better lens (longer focal length, sharper resolution, lighter weight).

This image was taken in the Waverly train station in Edinburgh as we headed south to London for the second part of our trip. Even shooting at ISO1600 I still got motion of travelers but focused on the woman reading her paper.
