ON A PERSONAL NOTE...

 A week ago today, the young lady on the left graduated from Clayton County Firefighter training and was awarded her badge after several months of grinding her way through the physical and mental requirements. For such a little girl (who is still a "little girl" to me, her granddad), I was surprised that she fought through all the training. Of course, the credit goes to her mom and dad (my son) for the way they brought her up. Being the smallest in the family AND the middle child, she has fought her way up to maturity. I am very proud of this young lady who was immediately assigned to a firehouse and has already been through two shifts this week.
