CONTRASTS

On our last trip to the UK in 2006, my wife and I were waiting for the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace when I grabbed this shot. I was doing the normal people watching of the crowd and found this group of ladies.

As one can see, the three Asian ladies seem to be enjoying the moment while the senior citizen seems to be upset with the world.

Image taken with a Nikon D2H (a favorite camera I used for personal and professional shooting for a decade) and a Nikkor superzoom 18-200mm DX f3.5-5.6. While many reviews of this lens gave it less than stellar sharpness reviews, I found it to be exactly what I wanted at the time.
