SHORT

Taken in November 2019, back before "pandemic" scares, I was roaming just off our town square and went into a building that used to be a textile mill that has been converted for retail and some "luxury" apartments. As I was leaving, I walked by an entrance to a recently opened restaurant and spotted this hostess. She had to stand on a small stool to be able to reach her orders where they were placed coming out of the kitchen. I couldn't resist the shot.

Today, roughly 14 months later, the restaurant is still operating. It survived the lockdowns that occurred last year with doing takeout orders like every other restaurant that has survived. I have not stopped by this restaurant to see if the little sprite is still there but maybe sometime.
